Catalyst Festival 2026
Welcome
There is a growing sense that God is inviting us to lay down what we have carried up to this point and to step across a threshold into all that He has prepared for us next. That invitation is both personal and collective, and this Festival is an opportunity to respond to it together.
Catalyst continues to be an apostolic family, committed to starting and strengthening churches that multiply disciples to see God’s Kingdom fill the Earth. We are united by this shared vision, but expressed in many different places, cultures, and contexts across the world. Over this weekend, we will celebrate all that God is doing among us and be stirred again with faith for what is to come.
This Festival will be a time of family, connection, learning, worship, and encountering God together. We want to create space not only to hear from Him, but to realign our lives with His purposes. We believe God is calling us to live with renewed focus, to set aside distraction, and to give ourselves wholeheartedly to His mission. There are many still to be reached with the good news of Jesus, and each of us has a part to play.
One of the things we hold dearly as a movement is that everyone matters in the Kingdom of God. Across Catalyst, we see men and women, people of every background and context, stepping into their calling and playing their part in God’s story. We are stronger together, and we want this weekend to reflect the richness and diversity of the family God is building.
My prayer for this Festival is that each of us would be freshly stirred. That we would encounter God in ways that bring healing, freedom, and renewed purpose. That we would leave with clarity about our next steps and with courage to follow Jesus wherever He leads. And that, together, we would step confidently into this new era, ready to partner with all that God wants to do in us and through us.
Thank you so much for being here. Let’s lean in together, expectant and open, ready to receive all that God has for us.
Have a fantastic weekend.
Simon Holley, Leads the Catalyst Team
Each year when we come together, we sense God drawing us forward, and this year feels particularly significant. As a movement, we believe we are stepping into a new era.
What is Catalyst?
We’re more than a Festival every two years! With our roots in Newfrontiers, we are a family of over 1000+ churches connected together through genuine relationship and served by a number of apostolic teams who aim to equip churches to raise pioneering disciples that see God’s kingdom fill the earth. Though there isn’t a blueprint for all Catalyst churches, you’ll find that we all share the same vision and apostolic foundations, worked out differently in each church’s unique setting across dozens of nations around the world. Our vision is to reveal and bring Jesus and His Kingdom to every environment, in every nation. Catalyst churches are characterised by firstly the strength of our relationships with God and one another. Secondly, by the valuing of our different gifts and the understanding that as we come together we add to the whole of who we are. Finally, by a deep commitment to work together to reveal the wonder of who Jesus is.
Catalyst is an apostolic movement, starting and strengthening churches that multiply disciples to see God’s Kingdom fill the Earth.

What better way to start your festival day than hearing God speak by getting into a less familiar book of the Bible!
Training Across Catalyst
For us to achieve everything we’re called to, we need men and women who are spiritually gifted and biblically trained, using their skills and passions for the common good in our society and our churches. We run four training programmes:
Youth leaders meet up - Monday 1:15pm
We’re moving into a New Era
We recently received a prophetic word from Phil Wilthew during our International Leaders gathering in Albania.
This word is shaping us right now! We are intrigued by Jesus’ invitation to lay down all we’ve carried up to this time, in order to cross a threshold into the new work He has for us to do.

Sent Ones: A Pathway to the Nations
Across the world today, billions of people still live without meaningful access to the gospel or a local expression of church. For Catalyst, this is not a distant issue, it’s a shared responsibility across the 40+ nations we serve. We long to see pioneers moving from nation to nation, responding together to Jesus’ call to make disciples of all nations.
Help us translate training for our teams around the world
Catalyst is using local translators and the latest AI technology to translate it's current and future training courses, making them accessible for their teams and disciple makers around the world.

The Apostolic & Prophetic Foundation of The Church
Catalyst recently reached a significant milestone; we turned ten years old! After a decade of working together for the sake of extending the Kingdom of God and making Christ known wherever we go, we felt it was time to reflect and rearticulate our vision and our values.

Why Catalyst loves the Arts
Why is Catalyst so crazy about the Arts? Jonny Mellor the leader of Sputnik, our very own arts initiative reminds us just how important the arts are in shaping and renewing our culture.
Catalyst: The Journey
Catalyst has existed since 2011 and has been on quite a journey as God has molded and shaped us through significant prophetic words.
